Agriculture/Agribusiness and Equipment

The agricultural projects that are to be put forward, will not only include biodiversity of crops, but looking into dairy and poultry farming, as well as animal sciences and livestock and herding as this plays a major roll within these countries, to assist them to become self-sufficient.

Many forms of agricultural processes will be looked into, including that of rainfed agriculture, agrobusiness, and ways of enhancing agricultural equipment.
CLIMATE CHANGE

With the United Nations Forum for Climate Change (UNFCC) taking place in Copenhagen in December, will focus on the mechanisms of climate change, and taking into consideration the Humanitarian aspect of it.

Climate Change will need to be mapped as to why certain countries get repeat flooding and what form of solution or prevention and preparedness could be put in place.
ENERGY

Energy and new technologies that are suitable for the countreis concerned, will be a new way forward, for improving the lives of those around.

These will be researched and developed through the resources available, and within an environmental framework and cost efficient for all.
ENVIRONMENT

Mapping the aftermath of increased salination, from the aftermath of cyclonic disasters in order for this to be used as a preventative and preparation method for the future, as a way to create a new yield of crops that are useable and saleable for the farmers to re-plough their land after a disaster.

Mapping the thermodynamics and sea surface temperatures (SST) and intensity of cyclonic Storm Surges to find out why these severe storms occur before the rainy season and mostly after the monsoon season on the Bay of Bengal.
Food/Health/Nutrition

With the World Food Crisis still looming, and the Global Hunger Index Targets as well as the United Nations (UN) Millenium Development Goals (UNMDGs) to cut hunger by half, and child mortality by two thirds by 2015, HEPDRC is hoping to assist with this by working on a new versatile Macronutrient and Micronutrient Food Pack for all without the use of water to enhance the Immune System.

These will be used in conjunction with the 'Minimum Standard Charter for Disaster Response', and will be either packed for those on a 1,600 Kcalorie diet, and for those who need a 2,100 Kcalorie diet, whether these be in the form of Emergnecy Ration packs, or for general use. These packs will also be airdropped from 600-800 ft for the remotest parts of the world and in danger zones.
Locusts and insect infestation

Looking into the various species of Locusts that affect and destroy the land and crops within certain countries, where they originate from and how these can be preventing from regrouping within another paprt of the country, as well as looking into the effects it has on climate change and food security.
Tropical Diseases

Bilarhazia (Snail Fever), the second deadly disease after Malaria, is now more prevalent than ever, especially in China, and Africa. Research and Development into the Ethiopian GopoBerry (or SoapBerry) is one that was patented many years ago to kill off the Zebra Mussels in the Great Lakes of both the US and Canada.

Research and Development is being looked into, with the assistance of the Endod Foundation to see how this can be used to prevent the severe prevalence of this disease in the future.
WATER SANITATION

Water sanitation projects will looking into biodegradable toilets, irrigation, where one can irrigate and invest in water resources, and looking how this can enhance peoples lives through education, and hygiene.
